Careful what you dream of

...it may come true!

All I needed was:
  1. A computer with email
  2. A contact from the ultrarunning world
  3. An invitation from him
  4. An acceptance from me
  5. ...and I am now a 50 mile Sweeper
Question is....What is the race and where is this monument?

Oh yes, it is a night run too :-D

    I think it's the sweeper for the winter100. That is the tower near to chequers near princes risborough
