Trawling my club forum I saw a "last minute" message from another member who is unable to run at the Beachy Head Marathon next Saturday.....who am I to disappoint? I got on the phone and found that he had passed it to another member who in turn couldn't run it so I went to their house and happily passed £20 over for the race number and instructions.Beachy Head is a brilliant marathon and the tickets are well sought after...I feel it is a lucky win, I can't wait and really keen to try and beat my time from last year.

Great race Jerry. I've done this for the last few years and it's still one of my favourites. Not going to get the chance to run it this year though. Have fun.
